Completely *&^%^&* day, front wasn’t meant to come through until tomorrow – the rain killed the epoxy and the wind blew the tarp away and ripped it.
Wind blew epoxy onto my wrist too [hand's OK] and wrist and arm now blistering, started shivering, came upstairs, heater on, straight to bed, just went out now to put the tarp back over. Having said that, the epoxy seems to have taken – would like to put second coat now but think it best to have some soup instead.
And Rossa says she can’t wait for this weather – or did I misunderstand her?
I could get one of those large tarps to string between fences but that costs a mint. Have to think of something.
Also, reduced the length of the boat again. wildly overbudget before but this way, by lopping off a few feet, there’s enough wood and epoxy to do it plus – the big plus – within the time frame. So it’s now down to 34 feet and can’t get any smaller – smallest oceangoing that’s safe.
