This post is a prime example of deciding where to place a blog and whom to appeal to. I can’t imagine it would interest very many of the regular readers at all and yet that’s no reason not to pursue it.
I’m in the middle of a long read about past events that various Christians have also made mention of. The difference here is that it comes from an astrologer who largely agrees. For example:
It was recently discovered that the CIA was one of the social drivers behind modernism. You know that art that everyone hated when it first came out? Rothko’s lumbering and ponderous blocks of dark gravity, Pollock’s kiddie splash art, Calder’s mobiles, you name it, seems like the alphabet agency had a deep and abiding interest in promoting futurism.
Couple that with their intense interest in psychotropic drugs, and there seems to be some kind of hidden hand brushing us along the collective people mover into the next century. If and when there was any type of hue and cry that modern art was pointless, useless and lacked all talent, critics were quick to come to the aid of the artist, going on the offensive, practically insulting other critics or the “common man” that they didn’t have enough brain wattage to comprehend the meaning, behind the meaning of meaninglessness.
That’s precisely what the Frankfurt School articles and the Critical Theory warning was about. The necessity to culturally damage society. Posts on that were fiercely opposed, esp at OoL and so I thought I’d do extra reading to see if I’d got the wrong end of the stick.
Quite the opposite – the influence of those ideas, existing before the FS but given focus by Adorno, Marcuse and others – Benjamin – has been immense. The whole point was to debase culture in the west with a view to demoralizing and bringing down. It was taken up in the 60s again, tag-teamed with Maggie greed in the 80s and now comes the fruit of the process we see about us today.
Bezmenov added to the discussion by mentioning the aiding and abetting by the KGB in the 60s to 80s but until the new millennium, not many were speaking of the hidden hand – the CFR, TLC, MIC etc. Eisenhower did mention it, as had Wilson all those years ago but the people did not have the grounding to understand WTH they were going on about.
Occasionally, people would get close – it was easy to identify the creature from Jeckyll Island, Kuhn Loeb etc., Warburg, it was easy to take on board that Trotsky was funded and that congressmen could be killed for taking on The Man. The sticking point with HAARP is not that they tried to do it but how effective the science was.
Most people have little trouble with the concept of the CIA and DARPA causing a lot of trouble over the years. Where they can’t go though is that there is some sort of an agenda. The most cogent pointer I think I’ve seen, apart from the file of quotes going back to 1776, was the Agenda 21 people:
American Thinker touches on it here:
A detailed history on sustainable development, definitions, and critical actions can be found here. Section III of the Agenda 21 Plan addresses local community sustainable development. The Preamble and Chapter 28 discuss how Agenda 21 should be implemented at a local level. The United Nations purposely recommends avoiding the term Agenda 21 and suggests a cleverly named alternative: “smart growth.” The United Nations Millennium Papers – Issue 2(page 5) says this of Agenda 21 and smart growth:
Participating in a UN-advocated planning process would very likely bring out many of the conspiracy-fixated groups and individuals in our society such as the National Rifle Association, citizen militias and some members of Congress. This segment of our society who fear ‘one-world government’ and a UN invasion of the United States through which our individual freedom would be stripped away would actively work to defeat any elected official who joined ‘the conspiracy’ by undertaking LA21. So, we call our process something else, such as comprehensive planning, growth management, or smart growth.
So this is a UN driven conglomeration of all the loony gaia/NWO/sustainable development/Monsanto/earth day stuff meets micro-control, salami slice by salami slice, supported by PCism, all fed into the K-12 school curriculum, not to mention the respective attitudes to evolution and G-d. It’s producing the new godless, dumb, non critically thinking, state-educated child of the C21st, so beloved of Them:
Education is a key ingredient in the transformation to a sustainable society. The UN Commission on Sustainable Development reports that in America, “the national strategy on education is prepared by the Department of Education and includes such programmes as Goals 2000 and School to Work” (emphasis added).
The National Environmental Education Advisory Council to the Department of Education consists of eleven individuals appointed by the EPA Administrator and includes representatives of women, NGOs, and local authorities (visioning councils). The U.S. State Department reported to the UN that:
“At the primary school level, school curricula have already been reviewed and revised, and at the secondary school level, the revision of school curricula is being undertaken currently to address environment and development as a cross cutting issue.”
The State Department also told the UN:
“The U.S. has been involved in several awareness raising programmes and activities aimmed at the population at large (Earth Day, industry supported campaigns, Ad Council, Program KAB, Arbor Day, GLOBE Program, Discovery Channel, National Geographic programmes, CNN, ZooQ, As it Happens, and water clean-up programmes.”
Naturally, as the second last quote points out, it’s going to provoke hostility in UN watchers and anyone who wakes up to what is really going on – that’s factored in and people producing posts such as this one now are marginalized by the simple expedient of labelling them the loons and dismissing them as conspiracy theorists.
That’s a sample of the sort of thing happening. If you sit back and think for a moment about all those people employed by the UN at HQ – what do they do all day? Dream up things to do, devise new schemes which fit the narrative, implement them, write tomes about them, file them away, hold symposia – you know the score.
And one thing they themselves keep coming back to is the new age stuff – there is always a spiritual element to it. Svali wrote of the seven branches of learning and mentioned that spiritual was very big to them. if you want a line on what this consists of, Global Warming is a useful pointer.
Strong was also involved with the World Service Initiative and photographed with a World Service Initiative trip to Findhorn, the New Age Vatican.
Here are their principles, as stated by them:
The purpose of the World Service Intergroup is to generate a focused, conscious and deliberate intergroup effort to specifically assist the Externalization of the Hierarchy and the Reappearance of the Christ.
Religious scholars will recognize immediately that talk of “The Christ” or World Teacher his nothing to do with the Christian Messiah but a different chap called Maitreya or Djwahl Kuhl who, in the Christian religion has another name and who the Rolling Stones had sympathy for. Strong was at Findhorn together with the Lucis Trust and you can do your own research on them.
Gordon Davidson and Corrine McLaughlin, who set up the WSI in Washington, D.C. in 1995 were also instrumental in setting up the Valdez Principles, [original link now forbidden but here is a second link], committing corporate America to the Gorean Eco principles now in vogue today. Here is his mindset:
The Shamballa force is in reality Life itself; and Life is a loving synthesis in action. We also used the Six Laws and Principles of the New Age to lead us towards creating a vision of how these principles might create patterns for the New Civilization humanity will be constructing over the next 2500 years.
The environmental movement therefore has an occult angle influencing it which sets it apart from the mindset of most people who see themselves as at least partly green. Shamballa force would seem to have little to do with recycling your bottles and using eco-friendly lamps and yet the connection is forced at high levels of society.
That was from that post. What’s clear is that many people don’t wish to go down this path and see just how bizarre the underpinnings of everything form the climate movement to the UN itself are. In fact, the very act of going down that path, as I’ve done, is to taint me with the same brush as those being investigated – now you tell me where the logic is in that.
The bottom line here is that all this weird stuff is not something out of an SF writer’s mind – it’s something the movers and shakers are following. Explore the Masons and that is frightening. These people, Rotary, other organizations central to the engine room of the nation are overlaying it with a spiritual side which you’d think has no place in the running of nations … but it does. They make it so. We don’t. They make it so. The entire green claptrap took something quite needed – sustainable development [in real terms] and turned it into a pig’s breakfast of Gaia-based new age claptrap.
And yet not so much claptrap as smokescreen for what is really going down. And this thing was precisely what Jesus of Nazareth supposedly [clearly I believe it] came down for. It happened at the flood, it happened again in the Year Dot. Once again now, the world is being run by these others and one of the things they’re into big time is significant dates and years.
We’ve just been through the Mayan end-calendar thing and there are others. As always, the mistake is that, in dismissing the Mayan end-calendar misreading and all those New-Agers on top of that hill in France, waiting to be collected, we could also dismiss things which go through with all that. IPJ, for example, has pointed to silent legislation which makes its way into Parliament unheralded and all of it advances their agenda at our expense.
And the parallels in dates and times is uncanny. JD has made mention of maths underlying the world, everyone knows of the Tesla theory of the force fields governing the earth – you can call that weird science but at least Tesla’s reputation is strong enough now for people to sit up and listen.
One gnostic principle, among the thousands of others, is that of the Adept, the ascended keeper of knowledge and it is revealed to the believer by degrees, as he makes his way up in the organization. Similar thing to nirvana and the various stages the being goes through. The bottom line is that there is an Adept or Adepts who can show you the True Way, which is precisely what Jesus claimed.
GK Chesterton, in one of his short stories about St Clair [interesting choice of name], had Father Brown asking how one covered a leaf in a forest? Simple – surround it with thousands of similar leaves. Hiding in plain sight but also obscuring. And how do you hide a murdered body? Create a field of bodies to hide it in.
How to obscure a genuine message – e.g. that of Jesus of Nazareth? Surround it with a whole host of adepts, Maitreyas, false prophets, anti-Christs etc. Have every second person saying he’s the Messiah. “I’m Brian of Nazareth.” “No, I am.” “No, I am.” “No, I am and so is my wife.”
The measure of the significance of that historical figure, Jesus of Nazareth, is that all the opponents keep coming back to Him to deny him, to tell people who’d not even been thinking about Him not to. LOL. The Dome on the Rock in Jerusalem – in their own church, they write on the wall that Jesus of Nazareth is not the Christ.
Come again? And so to our astrologer friend:
There has been some buzz that Jesus wasn’t born on 12/25 for quite a while. Most people understand that this was a ploy to get the pagans to buy into the return of the light from a more metaphorical perspective, just like how the cathedrals of europe were built on pagan ritual mounds. One belief system overlays itself upon another. In two-hundred-years, those churches will be massive data farms.
So if Jesus did exist (And I “believe” that he did) and he wasn’t born on 12/25, the greatest day of mammon worship, then what day? When? One theory is, is that he was born on . . .9/11. In the hyper-matrix, it makes reasonable sense. So, I cars a chart for 9/11/-3 or -2 Gregorian.
He starts to get into the astrological reasons then, which I don’t purport to understand. However, I do understand that many Christians accept that the December 25th date was artificial or to replace a Pagan date:
A careful analysis of Scripture, however, clearly indicates that December 25 couldn’t be the date for Christ’s birth. Here are two primary reasons:
First, we know that shepherds were in the fields watching their flocks at the time of Jesus’ birth (Luke 2:7-8 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
Shepherds were not in the fields during December. According to Celebrations: The Complete Book of American Holidays, Luke’s account “suggests that Jesus may have been born in summer or early fall. Since December is cold and rainy in Judea, it is likely the shepherds would have sought shelter for their flocks at night” (p. 309).
Similarly, The Interpreter’s One-Volume Commentary says this passage argues “against the birth [of Christ] occurring on Dec. 25 since the weather would not have permitted” shepherds watching over their flocks in the fields at night.
Second, Jesus’ parents came to Bethlehem to register in a Roman census (Luke 2:1-4 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.
(And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)
And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.
And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
Such censuses were not taken in winter, when temperatures often dropped below freezing and roads were in poor condition. Taking a census under such conditions would have been self-defeating.
Given the difficulties and the desire to bring pagans into Christianity, “the important fact then which I have asked you to get clearly into your head is that the fixing of the date as December 25th was a compromise with paganism” (William Walsh, The Story of Santa Klaus, 1970, p. 62).
If Jesus Christ wasn’t born on December 25, does the Bible indicate when He was born? The biblical accounts point to the fall of the year as the most likely time of Jesus’ birth, based on the conception and birth of John the Baptist.
He then continues his reasoning and a September date does not seem so remote a possibility.
Against this is the process of revisionism which is questioning everything now and the current Pope saying atheists can go to heaven. The issue is not if this is or is not so but that a Pope should do this. It’s been written by many of the non-religious pundits that the idea is to have people running about doubting, demoralized and ready to take direction.
What direction? A new messiah figure, in line with scriptural prediction, complete with false prophets and the like. The astrologer makes reference to the summer of love, 1967, something I’ve also looked at but not in astrological terms. You may recall posts on Laurel Canyon and the CIA/military presence over-ordinately represented in the families of those musicians. That much is easy to research.
And the nature of the songs pointed to the changes. Given that those conducting Vietnam were part of Them anyway, esp. LBJ, then the other side – the protest movement, also appears to have been a set-up. That pic of Hanoi Jane, the testimomy of Bezmenov – who else was on the anti-war and black power platform?
John Kerry, the currently resurrected. Who is a fellow Skull and Bones with Bush. Again, that much is on the record. If you mix in with all this last evening’s financial post from non-fanciful sources, then it does appear there’ve been attempts for a few decades now to induce the final crash – 1999 and millennial guff was meant to be one of the signposts.
I’ve no intention of joining dots with all this, except that there do seem indicators that something is going down or they’re waiting yet again for something to arrive or for some conjunction of circumstances. Going into Syria might have been one of them.
If they’re stymied in it this time, resulting in the inevitable slow recovery and the rationalists saying there – it was only the normal boom and bust which has always occurred, the PTB then go back under their stones and start planning the next one. Most people forget and nothing ever really happened.
London Bullion troubles happened though. They were real enough. Dearth of real gold is real enough.
One astrologer wrote:
Everything is flipped. Russia is the heart of morality, faith and reason, while the USA has wobbled off it’s center into debauchery, desperation and impetuosity. It’s literally a geo-politcal pole shift that’s taken place before our very eyes.
Take that one or leave it.
We could throw in Rense here, non-religious but into the conspiracies. He makes reference to 1967:
Thus, many of the evangelical Christians today came to believe that 1967 marked the beginning of the end of the Gentile rule. A great number of “Evangelicals” today now seem to believe that it is the generation of 1967 that will see the Second Coming of Jeus Christ.
Once again, if they consider a Biblical generation to be 40 years, then the year 2007 to them will be significant for obvious reasons.
(Some of them even say that our present calendar system is off by about 5 years, that the birth of Jesus Christ most likely took place around 5 B.C., which means that instead of 2006, we are now in 2011, and that next year, 2007, will actually be 2012).
1967 pops up quite a bit. I read that many evangelical “Christians” are putting the Revelation scenario – that a popular leader steps up to calm a world fearful of everything from starvation to war to gross immorality across the generations and genders, he puts a a stop to it, works with world leaders etc.
Svali chimes in with that same scenario – the idea is that a golden boy, a respected leader appears and takes us all out of this misery into a land of milk and honey, as the EU promised. Only this guy is the opposite of the good guy.
The bottom line again is that this is coming from different directions. Non-religious pundits have said in many places that some sort of strong leader appears and that the world is being softened up currently so that we cry out for such a person. for a start, those of our centre-right-libertarian-UKIP-tea party ish area would get right behind someone promising the things we want to see – PCism and feminism eliminated, a return to or maybe a first time to a free market economy, stability and security through jobs again, houses we can afford – that’s all this guy has to offer and we’re onboard.
The scowling left then somehow metamorphose into just citizens and there we are – all sorted.
Except it won’t be and will start going pear-shaped pretty soon after it. Belief in a messiah means you need to be pretty damned sure you’ve got the right one.
This has been a long and rambling post but the theme throughout is that there is something in all the things mentioned. I don’t dismiss astrology as readily as some, nor do I dismiss Christianity. Sustaining the planet is a worthy cause, if done without an agenda.
That there is an agenda going on with people who are not nice people is pretty well beyond dispute – the “absolutely determined to be blind” can continue their three wise monkeys trick but there’s enough surfacing to indicate something’s going down. Just what that is is the detail in which the devil resides.
There do seem significant dates and years through history, sorts of coming together of circumstances and so the soothsayer of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar feels in his bones that things are pointing to Caesar’s death. I don’t know. do you know? Are you certain? I’m not. Not enough to dismiss out of hand.
But I have a powerful text to hang onto for reality checks. Many, esp the young today, have no such text, nothing – the values are all in a swirling soup of urges and images. Everything’s turned on its head. I think it was meant to be but it hardly matters as it has been anyway.
Where does that leave us? Was it a monumental waste of time to read this post? Or was there some food for thought?
In purely practical terms, e.g. the London bullion crash waiting to happen, it might be best if our escape route was ready.
