N4327

tina-weaver-mirrorAnother one heading a company.

Another company falling low.

Look at her CV – good as a reporter, good at launching a magazine and might have been a good magazine editor with her gender and skills set.  Now that’s fine.  Let her be, doing good work.

However, if she’s promoted, you get this:

On 30 May 2012 publisher Trinity Mirror announced that Tina Weaver had been made redundant and would leave the company “with immediate effect”.

This one was not a parachutee as such, she did come up through the ranks but it does illustrate the Peter Principle and the paper obviously saw that as she’s now ex.

Perhaps attitudes are coming full circle.

  1. Ho hum. Women are supposed to be above all that. Their presence in the Boardroom is demanded so that just this sort of chicanery is not tolerated by a caring, sharing, nurturing oversight. I am still waiting for Rebekah Wossname to be charged with domestic violence. I am not holding my breath.

  2. We have been here before.
In fact, the government has always “been here before”

I wonder if The Alien and Sedition Acts of 1798 have ever been repealed?
