    There is a depth and complexity to the ‘gun control’ bizzo in the US that other English-speaking nations cannot aspire to comprehend. The politics too.

    I consider myself to be a well-read chap, quite bright and a ‘man of the world’, but sometimes I just about apprehend the position that may well have been adopted by a Spaniard or Gaul or even a woaded Briton when thinking about those strange buggers in Rome. Comprehension eludes. Where’s Brutus?
