To commenters here who are also bloggers

Longrider‘s put me onto the device he uses where a blogger’s last post will show below his comment.

I now have it installed and operating but exactly how it does it I’m not sure.  There’s also a facility for last ten posts and that’s still being adjusted.   This will only affect bloggers of course.

About the only difficulty I can see is that sometimes a blogger doesn’t want to be known to be commenting at my place [bad for the street cred] and so he or she would have to comment without url.

Conversely, there’ll be some mainly hostile bloggers who, though I welcome their comments, I have no intention of linking back to their sites but for me, that would only be if it led to a series of links back to past unpleasantness I have no desire to regurgitate again.   That would be a rarity.

Generally, I hope it works nicely as I’d like commenters who are fellow bloggers to get a bit of advertising beyond the link in the author name.
