The Mergy Notes asks: “What is up with the insane long Google results URL now?”
It seems Google is adding some additional information to the query. It used to be that you could send people a URL for a search but now this is out of hand. Go to Google and just do a plan simple search for a term and check the address bar when you get results. Crazy.
I did a search for “testing” and look at the results.
Yet, look at the crazy returned URL
Now I noticed that and was going to put it into yesterday’s copyright post but forgot. If you go to images, you get this long url. My first reaction was to pull the image url out of it [relatively easy to do] and embed that. Then I thought, it might be some sort of copyright covering thing by Google so I left it as it was.
Not sure about Google right now. They’ve ruined youtube, they’ve ruined Gmail, who knows what they’ll ruin next? King’s Cross?
Have to laugh at their carry-on about “fresh look” and all that. Intercourse your fresh look, Google!
Marissa come home, all is forgiven.
