The earth hates us

The idea that Earth was a benevolent, living organism friendly to humans, providing all the elements for embodied life, and a warm, scented, beautifully coloured and protected haven, with soft grass underfoot, pleasing birdsong, cooling waters, magnificent scenery and a sky of glorious cobalt in the lonely freezing, deadly, radiation-filled pitch-black vacuum wasteland of empty space – has been proven to be a myth.

Richard Dawkins proved it by saying the Universe doesn’t care. It probably wants us to get healthy so it can eat us up.

Fact: kindness is uknown in the Universe. In the photo above, the fruit is way out of reach of the distressed child, terror of starvation etched on its face: what benevolent Mother Nature would inflict such torment? And there’s probably a wasp somewhere too. The Earth clearly hates us.

  1. With respect, JD, nonsense.

That child does not have terror of starvation etched on her face. The world does not hate us anymore than childbirth has an intent to kill a mother and crush a baby.

I could concede that the Universe does not know ‘kindness’, but with the evolving of Human Beings (part of the Universe), it has a chance now to learn and to experience it. Dawkins has a lot of growing up to do.

  4. Brilliant find JD. No wonder the red wine and chocolate is killing me……slowly! ;-)

  5. As I’ve always said, have respect for Mother Nature, because she has none for you.
