Be of good cheer

Though the forecast says we’ll have snow by evening, if we rug up, eat well and drink copiously, we’ll get through this patch and still be in good spirits.

To all readers of NO, the very best of Sundays to ye, hunkered down wherever you are, stilling your chattering teeth.

We’ve prepared by having goose-a-leekie for lunch: Christmas goose and our own leeks and tatties. We fell to wondering whether in the autumn we should dry some of our damsons so that we can use them as the prunes in future.
Sounds good fare.
As an expat I am enjoying the +2 temperature here in Ukraine, ok its snowing but besides that it is warm for me. The food looks good and enjoy.
Wish it was that warm here in Utah. I’ve been waking up to temperatures of 4ºF (that’s -15ºC for you in the UK). It is now 14:27, and we are at 13ºF. That’s the global warming, I guess.
Good friends always help us keep up good spirits.
