All the DM’s smear campaign on Nigel is achieving is to harden resolve:
I’m not a supporter of UKIP but if they are the only alternative to the present bunch of Lib/Lab/Cons, then I’ll vote for them. All this article has shown is the depths that the opposition are delving, trying to besmirch the man.
My position, of course, is lapsed Tory but there’d have to be a radical change to that party to go back, namely the expulsion of the Heaths/Clarkes/Osbornes/Camerons/Majors and the like and the injection of a bit of talent and integrity.
What an appalling person Marr is. Absolutely right that Farage needed to be grilled on policy, as any leader should and with no beg pardons either. But Marr’s mouthing of “shambles” when he’d established nothing of the kind was so unprofessional. Hopefully it would have been counterproductive.
Mind you, UKIP would need to get its act together a bit better before an election so lowlifes like Marr can’t find dirt.
