Did anyone catch Eng v NZ and Wales v Aus scores?
Posted on December 1st, 2012 by James Higham
Sorry – I’ve been out of it all day and the glasses are now all fogged up. Could anyone tell us in large letters so it’s visible – the England score v New Zealand and incidentally, the Australian score v Wales? I’m told New Zealand and Wales are very good teams indeed, so they would have won, right? Failing that, I’ll have to ask my Welsh boss next week.

Wales 12-14 Australia
The Aussies scored the winning try in the last 30 seconds of the game. Halfpenny was stretchered off, apparently badly injured, just after the try was scored.
England 38-21 New Zealand
HISTORY!! Biggest thrashing England has ever given the All Blacks!!!!
Magic game, England played superbly!
… and you knew all along, didn’t you!!
O – 27
You may prefer to know that Scotland beat New Zealand 3 and 2, Scotland beat England 3 and 1 and Scotland beat Australia 2 and 1 in Perth (Perth, Scotland that is).
A famous triple triumph for Scotland, or at least for QuiScottie, in a rare tetra-national fourball.
New Zealand bought the pints. Australia bought the peanuts. England seemed more interested in watching the pub telly.
Whatever other issues you were on about do not matter.
Thanks Dave and DQS.
Stephen – you caught me out. What were those scores again? [Chuckles to himself] What a thing to come home to.
