… about certain references to wildness by the efficacious and estimable Rossa … a response:
Or is this more like it?
Or maybe this?

On a summer Sunday 1976 we went to see The Troggs at The Roundhouse just because they had one song, Wild Thing, and they weren’t Slade or T-Rex.
They didn’t show but on stage came a wierd trio that turned out to be (so we believed) the third ever gig by The Damned and so our intro to Punk Rock.
Born To Be Wild, Slade ibid.
Walk On The Wild Side, after much intense debate it was decided that it was OK for Elton and Bowie to be benders but, for some, WOTWS was taking the piss, not I.
Still haven’t worked out how I’m efficacious, James….lol
Only ‘wildness’ of mine I can think of was my own visit to The Roundhouse (my Aunt worked there) in the early 70s where I saw the estimable P J Proby!
Girls going wild over him singing Somewhere.
And a couple you missed out…
