A question of time

Time present and time past
Are both perhaps present in time future,
And time future contained in time past.
If all time is eternally present
All time is unredeemable.
[T. S. Eliot, in the Four Quartets]
This video is not as serious as The Symphony of Time but, in its own way, it is equally thought provoking-

“This video is not as serious as The Symphony of Time”
Much funnier though.
Ohhhh! The wonderful Goons. Still sadly missed.
Now….all together…..”where’s me shirt?”
.”where’s me shirt?”
that was Ken Dodd and his Diddymen
That’s what Google says – but I am certain, JD, that it originated in a Goons sketch, back in the late 1950s, before Ken Dodd was universally popular.
I could have my wires crossed, I guess…..but feel sure that once when I was showing Goon You Tubes to Husband I found the one with the “shirt” phrase on it. Can’t seem to find it now though. Ken Dodd diddyed it, I think Jimmy Clitheroe did too -both were later on.
JD – OK yes….. I was wrong – I was mixing up “where’s me shirt” with “He’s fallen in the water” – that was the one I meant to use……senior moment? LOL!

Wonderful JD, an appreciation of Goon Show ‘logic’ like this was just about universal in pioneering computer types in the seventies.
A personal favourite is Henry and Minnie discussing ‘fog chickens’
Ah the fog chickens.
Time present? Would that be that nice sapphire watch in the jewellers?
