Haikui is the end of the world as we know it
Posted on August 9th, 2012 by James Higham
Two links just arrived via email from Chuckles and I’m not sure what to make of them. The first is by the Beeb and is all about the human disaster:
This is the third typhoon to hit China in less than a week, that’s blocked roads, rivers have overflowed …
… and so on, replete with apocalyptic commentary. The other report, by Global Alert and Coordination System, says:
Tropical Cyclone HAIKUI-12 can have a low humanitarian impact based on the Maximum sustained wind speed and the affected population and their vulnerability.
So where’s the human disaster?

The beeb is following the green AGW agenda of doom while the others are being practical – simples.
Doesn’t look any worse than the recent floods in Hebden Bridge and other places.
I know Hebden Bridge and that’s a great place for a flood.
