Sometimes a blog has a mind of its own. This is what I had planned:
1. No onging commentary on any Olympic events. FAIL.
2. Nothing more for a few days on the Olympic scam. CHECK. Until Thursday – megapost brewing, from info received.
3. No salivating over wimmin competitors on beaches or elsewhere. FAIL.
4. No posts on parachutees and feminazis – can we please, please just get off wimmin for a day?!!!
Sadly, no. This one came through yesterday:
If I were looking for a pin-up girl for the self-entitled, man-hating, parachutee, victimhood incompetent champagne socialist scam-artiste, it would be her and her haircut. I don’t know who it is, I don’t care for her, I don’t think I even want to know. Bet she’s Lady something and has a string of degrees.
There’s a type, isn’t there, that you just don’t want anything to do with but the problem is, that type will never leave you alone – always in the background, plotting, scheming, moaning.
I’d lay money she’s done something incompetent/criminal. Let’s read the article and I swear that at the point of writing this, I still haven’t even skimmed through it.
A few years ago a ‘young and naive’ thirty five year old red headed female partner in a major law firm specialising in trade union business handled the settlement of a Fitzroy house purchase in the name of the union official with whom she was sharing reproductive fluids at the time.
The funds for the house purchase came from what appeared to be a union account (of which the union itself had no knowledge) but the law firm partner did not think to ask why the title was not to be registered in the union’s name..
The house has long since been on-sold but there is no evidence of any sale proceeds reverting to the union. It appears some half a million or more dollars were paid into the bogus union account by Theiss Construction in a legitimate transfer of state government grants for ‘training.’ Theiss thought it was paying the real union.
There were many large cheques drawn for cash and at about this time the ‘young and naive’ law firm partner had her own house in Collingwood renovated. It is widely suspected the renovations were paid for by her then stud, using cash from the bogus union account.
Maybe suspected but still – no proof as yet.
Enter the ex Labor Attorney General who was demoted to the back benches by Julia Gillard on account of his open support for Kevin Rudd’s failed January leadership bid. He has lifted the lid and the whole sordid tale is starting to pour out.
Ah – three key words:
Four – four key words. Meanwhile, from Mother Russia comes this inside story [too long for a post] on corruption:
Magnitsky story is just one of awfully many. Alas. The guy got to the front pages because of his job and the stolen billions he had found . Stolen by the way by the General Attorney office and Federal Tax Service officials.
How about that for High Crimes? There are thousands of cases like that in Russia, according to Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International.
One more down. Navalny , Aleksey. Robin Hood of modern Russia is going under falsified criminal charges today. The guy is facing 10 yrs stretch.
Oops, I’d probably best write that this blog has no opinion on that one way or another and that everything’s just fine over there.
