  3. When was that taken? Late fifties/ early sixties I would say. Men wearing caps, old Ford Prefect and long skirts on the women.

  5. I’m afraid this is just not funny.

    In fact it a picture of a bus that drove into a blast crater during the blackout in 1940, The crater having been formed by by armour piercing bombs , that had broken the roof of Balham Tube station in which c. 500 people were sheltering.

    The official figure was 65 dead ( countless others injured and traumatised)
