British get it a*** end round

La presse britannique ne semble pas avoir été séduite par François Hollande, en visite mardi outre-Manche. Plusieurs quotidiens ont choisi cette photo sur laquelle le président apparait minuscule à côté d’un garde d’honneur. François Hollande disait mardi qu’il appréciait l’humour et «surtout l’humour britannique».

The British press does not seem to have been seduced by Francois Hollande, [during his visit on] Tuesday across the Channel. Several newspapers have chosen this picture where the president appears tiny next to a guard of honor. Francois Hollande said Tuesday he appreciated the humor and “mostly British humor.”

Now this is a far cry from how the British press are portraying it.

They’re saying that Hollande has become a laughing stock and butt of jokes in France.

Do you think this is how le figaro excerpt reads?
