Dr. Eben Alexander III has been an academic neurosurgeon for the last 25 years, including 15 years at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.
He contracted bacterial meningitis and was in a coma for a week. Normally people do not survive such things but he did and afterwards he realised that everything he had been taught about neurology was wrong! http://www.lifebeyonddeath.net/my-story
1) It seems a bit cruel to call him Eben Alexander III, he doesn’t seem to be ill now.
2) I died once. The registrar said my heart had stopped, but that the mechanical shock of falling on top of my bike had restarted it. I remember nothing between dismounting the bike and pushing it toward someone to ask for help – I had felt dizzy – and waking up in the ambulance. Anyway, no sign of God, heaven, hell, angels or anything at all.
He does know what he is talking about I admire him for his ability to explain the nature of reality and to get those who would normal be sceptical to understand.

I should add that I came across his story about six months ago during my search for answers about my own neurological aberration-

I think it is safe to say that Dr. Alexander knows what he is talking about

JD – yes.
Dearieme – reincarnated, eh? That explains much.
He does know what he is talking about
