1 The word i’m looking for is chaos, this rock formation is part of the Chaos de Montpellier le Vieux in southern France.
2 The area it’s attached to is the wonderful Gorges du Tarn an area of outstanding natural beauty and variety.
Think we’re coming into the silly season, Wiggia.
So a pile of rocks then? I was thinking more of the Staines Massiv, or the Massif Central and Rocamadour and the like.
I have to confess I didn’t recognise it as France despite being in close proximity to those Gorges recently…
