Aah, the memories. The first time I heard this (~1978?) it was Muckle Flugga v USS Enterprise.
You managed to combine both American intelligence with Military intelligence – both at the same level. Well done.
Neglected to say that this post is from Russ who at this moment is looking after his brand new baby boy in the middle of Russia. So he’ll possibly not be able to respond.
When I first heard it, it involved a Canadian lighthouse.
My dad knew this one from his father, a RN Captain in WW2, and it was a British lighthouse. As they say history doesn’t repeat but it does rhyme.
