From Grumpy Old Sod: It was Nazi policy to make the people they conquered pay for their own oppression. At its most obscene, the Jews had to pay for their tickets on the cattle trucks that took them to the gas chambers. In Greece, the procedure was marginally more civilised. On March 14, 1942, a [...]

* That woman with the daughter We recently had Jodi Farhat flooding the Missouri basin, Regina Dugan‘s conflicts of interest, countless other “affirmative action” appointees which I call Parachutees and now there’s Lori Garver, unqualified and imposed on NASA by the Obama administration.

Having said that there are many problems with the 911 polls, I then go ahead and put some up below. For a start, the differences in questions asked produced different responses. When it spoke of the govt or influential persons knowing, the number was much higher than for the govt actively participating. Whilst the question [...]

Clémence Oleksy, Miss France Well, you know, I’m not too sure about this. It does seem to be a lot of lecherous old men ogling young female flesh but who am I to say? Laura Coleman seems to think it’s fine: Laura Coleman, a former Miss England, asked protesters not to attend the event, arguing [...]

Couldn’t possibly be a government department glitch, could it? Couldn’t possibly be down to the types of people inducted and how they are now trained? Potentially deadly aircraft incidents attributable to control tower mistakes have increased dramatically in recent years. Professor Jack Williams of Georgia State University told The DC that these operational errors averaged 10.8 [...]

This is Albrecht Dürer’s engraving known as Melancolia There have been several attempts to understand whatever secrets are hidden in the symbolism in the picture as well as the underlying geometry of the whole thing.

England has been here before but this is as hard as any times she’s faced. 1997-2010 saw the quislings effectively complete the social re-engineering of the entire nation and invite the EU in to decimate and enslave the land, although the process really started under Wilson and Heath. Now she’s in danger of losing her [...]

Regarding Cameron’s paper on Global Governance, Ironies Too writes: By the end of yesterday I had seen no other reference to it across the entire UK MSM. This is not something Cameron wants trumpeted across the UK, though he’s duty bound to have it appear in the N10 papers. He would even claim he was [...]

We all know of the ancient civilization of Tyre: The city of Tyre was particularly known for the production of a rare and extraordinarily expensive sort of purple dye, produced from the murex shellfish, known as Tyrian purple. This color was, in many cultures of ancient times, reserved for the use of royalty, or at [...]

Why can’t religion be fun anymore? The only “music” that could rightly accompany this scene is toneless human screaming. We mean no offense to any particular faith here, but if you were standing in this spot taking this photo, you would fully expect to be human sacrificed within the hour. Everything from the costumes to [...]

… or cuddles? [Over at Orphans, by the way: Marriage is one Man and one Woman - guess who wrote that post?] Can’t remember the online newssource but the comments below it were numbing in their selfishness and self-centredness. I always thought men had the mortgage on emotional self-centredness and lack of open affection but [...]

Authorities threaten St Paul’s protestors with George Monbiot: Anti-capitalist protestors are being told they face a lengthy visit from columnist and self-styled eco-warrior George Monbiot if they don’t withdraw from their encampment in St Paul’s Square. The protestors are said to be ‘in disarray’ over news of Mr Monbiot’s imminent arrival at the camp. Is [...]

Not having a tele, like, this TOWIE that kept popping up in the real media was a puzzle. Somehow, the stars of the show got into a mock fight but came out with real injuries. So I did a bit of exploring and discovered: Ivan Godfrey was once quoted as saying the show is “the [...]

TRAVEL 1. The typical train is 16 carriages long. 2. All food in Germany consists of hasenpfeffer and black pumpernickel. 3. The Heartbreak Hotel is located at the end of Lonely Street and its desk clerk dresses in black. 4. Hula dancers are best judged by their ability to really move that grass around. 5. [...]

Can’t keep away from Tina Weymouth. Sure there’ve been far better bass players, she always gave the impression that she was relieved at the end of a song that she’d got all the notes right and in interviews she’s admitted her nervousness.

The interesting thing for me is that this is quite uncannily like a certain Russian lady I know/knew. She’d say the face is different and the outline but it’s not all that different and to readers outside Russia, it does illustrate the constant moral danger the male of the species was in the whole time.

These linked articles here and here refer to the formal tying together of something we all know is happening anyway. Over here, the Beeb, the courts, Pink Dave, Labour, Lib Dems, teacher training facilities and so on and so on consistently pump out the left-liberal bias. Recently I mentioned the Globe and Mail, known as [...]

Ho hum: Correspondents say Monday’s vote is a symbolic breakthrough but that on its own it will not create a Palestinian state. A vote is expected in November at the UN Security Council on granting full membership of the UN to the Palestinians. The US has threatened to use its veto. No member has a [...]
