We may not have found God particle after all, admits Hadron chief
Fevered speculation about the discovery of the so-called “God particle” by physicists at Europe’s underground atom-smasher experiment is premature, according to the director general of the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (Cern) near Geneva.
Sigh … yawn …

It is only the papers that call it the ‘God Particle’ and I sigh and yawn at that too
Is he now saying I was premature to congratulate myself on living in the age when we had the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything?
I can remember when Physics wasn’t entirely stuck. I can remember when government-funded science didn’t always have an air of boondoggle and fraud about it. I am old.
