The Voice

Bruce Springsteen, Freddy Mercury, Robert Plant, Jim Morrison, Jon Fogerty et al were wonderful, yes but only one man was called The Voice.

Popular with a certain type of audience but not universal, as some of the others were, a little too hard for the girls perhaps, Paul Rodgers most certainly had the voice which dominated.  This is a more accessible song:

Everyone to his or her own but I prefer men singers to be masculine, women to be feminine, little boys to be little boys and little girls to be little girls. Call me a dinosaur for that, I don’t mind.

Anyway, goodnight and we’ll Come Together in the Morning.

  1. Not quite. Russell Watson is known as The Voice, James.

  2. And it’s Freddy Mercury for me!

  3. Not bad James, but who did Paul Roger?

Like Rosa Freddy takes the biscuit
    for me.

  4. Freddy’s Ok but take him out of their material and it could be any voice. [Ouch - I'll now duck for cover in the UK.]

  5. You name me one male singer to match his range then. (no operatic singers allowed)
