Originality

In what could be called the rock genre, the truly great bands are those who break entirely new ground and carve their own unique niche. IMHO, the greatest of these is Can who featured here, without comment, and not a long way off is Tull, featured above. Another who defined a whole new realm of folk rock was Fairport Convention:
