All change again
Today I go to a menial job in another city, this time minus internet connection of any form – they don’t even run to email. Fine, the only way to handle this eight hours a day wrenched out of a rapidly shortening life is to pretend it’s an adventure and that it will create opportunities I never knew existed. Either that or fall into deep depression Better the former.
It does impinge on blogging though and blogging/visiting always seems the first victim whenever anything changes, doesn’t it? More this evening.
Update 18:03
Well, not too bad. Met an Italian girl today on my travels and there’s also one in a tea shop I think I might make fairly regular. Physical work, which is good to 1. give the brain a rest during the day and 2. get the fitness level back up and the stomach down. Horrified- nearly 90 kg on the scales today.
The people are nice and it’s pretty laid back – I’m the most energetic apart from the boss and 2IC. So we’ll see. Got some good deals on products today too.
Triple glazers want to come in at my place [note under the door] but of course, I’m not home, am I?

Real life really does bugger up blogging James.

I grew tired of pretence, or at least the mental and emotional effort required to maintain it, and gave myself up to what I’m sure was, and may still be, depression. I think a change of location has done some good but I know that another will be needed soon.
Yeah, it’s a bit tiring.
I find that no matter what you do (even menial tasks) there is always something interesting learned or gained from the experience.
Are you an agency worker Higham?
or a community service sentence perhaps?
Intriguing.
I’m sure you will find time for blogging James!
Are you going to make the Italian girl regular or a visit to the teashop regular? Just asking
Give her figs Higham. Is that what you meant Cherry?
WG,
Not exactly but LOL
Teashop but a little bird told me today that there was a second teashop with even richer spoils so that’s on the agenda tomorrow.
Now what exactly are those richer spoils?
I shan’t know until I go there.
So what exactly did that little bird tell you
That it’s a special evening for Cherie this evening. More this evening.
