The song they’ve been drilled in is about how this Socialist Campaign Group MP is black and everyone, including all the Anglo-Saxon kids in that class, have to embrace her values. Er … is this England? Did that teacher who was politically indoctrinating those kids actually stop and think what he was doing and whether this was appropriate in a supposedly still free society? I thought politics stayed out of schools?
Well, I suppose if sex and narcotics are pushed in schools now, encouraged by teachers, then political brainwashing is the next step.

Great people, socialists. Great party, Labour. Meanwhile, in socialist Wales, a six year old girl is assaulted by 23 classmates and the teachers say they can’t do anything. What they mean is, they never supervised the grounds. I can guess where they were – drinking tea in the staffroom.

If this happened in my school, my mother (bless her) would have pulled me out of the school the very same day. My mother still wonders how she would cope with the socialist backlash that would have resulted from such a situation nowadays (cries of ‘racist’, etc).
However, in my day (as a nine year old), our class was used as guinea pigs for a researcher assessing teaching music to the deaf (not the tone deaf, just hard of hearing). The Curwen method involved using signing to represent notes of a musical scale. Our class’ piece de resistance was singing ‘Hot cross buns’ with signing to indicate the notes. Ahh, if only youtube was around. Of course the socialists would say that these kids ‘composed’ something (I’d love to have been a filming fly on the wall during those lessons where this was prepared – ‘Now listen junior citizens, you’ve written this rap and it’s so good that I want to put it on youtube’ – the kids, not being able to remember beyond last night’s tv, would easily believe that they wrote it and wouldn’t be concerned with the ethical implications of taking credit for something that they didn’t do). In socialist speak, getting someone else to do something is the same as doing it yourself. I fear for when these kids enter the sinful world of work and have to do things for themselves and pay their way.

But probably not; However… I do recall in my primary school, early 60s having to learn and sing quite a few of what was then called “negro spiritual” songs. But it was the spirituality that was brainwashing to me. We only notice the brainwashing or indoctrination we object to, don’t you think. It happens every week in every Sunday School when adults tell naive children to believe absolutely in stories the adults cannot possibly know to be true, but I should forgive these adults, because they were the victims of such brainwashing abuse when they were young too.

That sounds serious James. I think you should call a doctor. Just say “I think I just agreed with Andrew Scott” and they will realise the gravity of the situation. Unfortunately, however, medical science may not be able to repair the damage, through it may have something to offer to prevent a recurrence. Good luck, and sorry.
