As I you know I never had the opportunity to learn Latin.
But I do know number five and I always try to
Okay, James, my Latin is very rusty indeed, but I’ll have a go…..
1. Read (it) and weep
2. Justice for all
3. Pride comes before a fall
4. Love conquers all
5. Seize the day
Mirabile dictu, I got ‘em.
Cherie – yes.
BS – not N3.
Dearieme – verum mirus.
I know these!
1. Lege et lacrima: My sciatica is acting up
2. Justitia omnibus: Equal rights for public transit riders!
3. Spectaculorum procedere debet: The national deficit is growing even more astronomical
4. Vincit omnia amor: Got my mojo working!
5. Carpe diem: Steal a diadem
Three and a half. I need to get my Latin book out again.
