How many clues will it take you?

1. They don’t look anything like the creatures in the photo;
2. They’ve colonised almost every landmass on Earth;
3. Estimates in different environments suggest that they contribute 15-20% (on average and nearly 25% in the tropics) of the total terrestrial animal biomass, which exceeds that of the vertebrates;
4. Males only last a few weeks;
5. They’re of the family Formicidae.

Clue 5 is the giveaway
Guessed it after clue 2, clue 5 confirmed it.
Clue 5 definitely was the clincher.
5 gave it away.
Actually I don’t have a clue.
Do they really serve them dipped in chocolate as a snack in parts of South America?

Yes and available over here.
Very unpleasant when they invade your house!
Chocolate ants are tasty. Ants are also good lightly roasted in a pan or on a hot rock, and then sprinkled on food as a spice. I’ve had them that way on rattlesnake-on-a-stick, and it is quite good.
I merely had to look at th picture.
They’re giant ,prehistoric bloggers.
Well I started at 1 with humans then stuck there with 2 and then changed to fat humans at three and at 4 it was fat men at a feminist diet spa. At 5 it changed completely to what the government is trying to turn us all into.
Yes, clue 5 was the clincher. Had a balcony invasion during the summer.
