Report from Base Nourobscur

The way I always get into my site is to go through my homepage and to get to that involves googling “nourishing” – just the one word.  Usually my old site is in top spot or in N3, the two main rivals being two “definitions” sites.  Occasionally some other “nourishing” is up there for half a day.

Imagine my horror this morning when I found some other bstd has  come in overnight and knocked me off, pushing nourishing obscurity blogger down the list!  This bstd I’m speaking of is a cheeky git, methinks – here’s his url.  [Just tried googling "obscurity" and as predicted, that's lower down the list.]

  1. And I thought I was confused!

  2. That is a very convoluted way of accessing your own blog.

  3. It gives my old blog hits.

  4. I think I’ll stick with a boookmark myself..

  5. Here in the U.S. — if you use Google Chrome in incognito mode in order to strip off the results of Google’s personalized search (which now gives many different results to different people) — you are currently in the number 10 slot for “nourishing.” UK and US results are often quite different.

  6. That’s true – I noticed that in the difference between the Russian and British too.
