Hotel
Planning to go on holiday? Dirtiest hotels in the world:
Heritage Marina Hotel, San Francisco, California
Phi Phi Don Chukit Resort, Ko Phi Phi Don, Thailand
Arkona Motel, Niagara Falls, Canada
Grosvenor Hotel, Blackpool, United Kingdom
Enjoy.
The Amsterdam “Hans Brinker” hotel is so bad, it advertises itself around Amsterdam with posters such as “a door in every room”. However, hotels with language problems take the biscuit, methinks:
• In a Paris hotel elevator: Please leave your values at the front desk.
• In a Tokyo Hotel: Is forbitten to steal hotel towels please. If you are not person to do such thing is please not to read notis.
• In another Japanese hotel: You are invited to take advantage of the chambermaid.
• On a Swiss restaurant menu: Our wines leave you nothing to hope for.
• In a Vienna hotel: In case of fire, do your utmost to alarm the hotel porter.

I once stayed in a Greek hotel that had a sign saying.”Please do not fiddle with our lambs” and “Please keep your urine at home”
You can’t say fairer than that, Bill. They don’t like it straight and simple in Greece.
There should be more British hotels on the list.
I always love those amusing slightly off the mark translations
I think I have stayed in all those hotels, that’s teach me to go economy.
I think that is the fix James-wrong web address saved:)
We stayed in a hotel in Bournemouth in 1993, when the IRA bombed the town. The hotel was so dire that I wrote a letter to the B Echo saying they should have hit the hotel instead, but for some reason the letter wasn’t published.
There are some shockers all right.
