Power and intensity

Some songs are a happy combination of a powerful voice and intense guitar work [e.g. at 2:04]. I’ve heard most versions and Fogerty’s would have to take the prize:
Joe Cocker’s covers of Beatles songs became his very own – sorry about the sound quality but the vid’s good and Leon Russell quite up to par:
Don’t know about the dancing but Tina Turner was amazing:

Agreed that is an excellent version of the song
Re Tina Turner – she still is! Just shows that there is still life in us ‘oldies’!
ps – what happened to the ‘Beethoven Promise’??????
I am not sure about the YouTube rendition, it is a little :-/ But I enjoy the last song!
I prefer Little Alan Price on “Spell”. From Mr Cocker I prefer “With a little help from my friends”. But mainly I prefer Jazz and the Classics, because most pop and rock is shite.
Tina Turner will always be a legend in music history.~;~
