How about deaf people? Do they have the right to point out that they actually didn’t hear the police informing them they had the right to remain silent, and therefore their arrest is unlawful?

I think they do. I also think that Andrew Scott may be confusing deaf people with dumb people (which adds a whole new level of hilarity to the concept).
