My solution is:

Stage 1: P2 to P5 contractor C
Stage 2: P5 to P3 contractor A
Stage 3: P3 to P1 contractor B
Stage 4: P1 to P4 contractor D
Stage 5: P4 to P2 contractor E

Well, my solution is also consistent with the given answer. However, the answer is almost as complicated as the puzzle; I think I used similar logic, but it’s difficult to be certain.

I don’t think there are any other solutions. I have mine typed up and can post it as soon as no one else wants it hidden.
