There are some superb sites out there
The people on my blogroll are not there because they’re my friends -they’re there because I admire them and some go on to become friends with me, poor souls. The moment I select one website, there are twenty I should have mentioned.
The subject of this post is The Economic Voice. These guys had a recent makeover and went from a site which, quite frankly, wasn’t working and gave the appearance of a one man band to a great site with a most navigable layout and superb articles. The boys have put a lot of work in and I hope the traffic is rolling their way.
Don’t for one second think that if you’re not an economist, you can’t visit – there are so many other categories and the only problem is that there is too damned much to read in one hit. With the magazine layout, which is better for prolific bloggers, the posts don’t get lost but give you time to get back to them, something my site does in a half and half way.
Personally, I like their Culture section and there’s a current post on English Folklore. Now that’s great and seriously – how many truly magazine type blogs are there out there? Even my own has gone all political of late.
If you haven’t checked out The Economic Voice, you really should allow yourself, say, twelve to fifteen minutes to go through it. Don’t stay on the front page but click and see how they have the back pages laid out too. I really want their template for here.

Thanks very much for your kind words James. It has taken a lot of work but we really think it is worth it.
And we do read your blog regularly too. In fact, your work was very influential on our new format.
Thanks again …. Jeff
