Paris, London, unions and quality of life

RATP-AGRESSION-SNCF-SOCIAL

Have you noticed the increase in industrial action by unions recently?  I have no stats but it seems that wayAnd here.  Certainly, Paris has been hit by it and papers have been forced to publish lines and times, the old nightmare revisited on commuters:

Look at the pic above and tell me – is that what life is meant to be about?  Who would live in a big city?  Tell me please, Londoners et Parisiennes.

  1. That sadly is the flock of sheep that behaves like wolves when the need arises.

  2. I would hate to live in a city!

  3. Well London is still the greatest place in which to live IMO.

  4. BTW it isn’t industrial action by the unions, it is industrial action by the workers ;-) It is a very democratic process, legal procedures and voting etc etc.

To me it is quite obvious why the workers would vote to go on strike when the fat cats have their noses in the trough! In my union the membership includes senior managers too!

Just some food for thought ;-)
